Introducing Site Manager
A new portfolio toolkit for tracking PHP across every client site — rescans, reminders, probes, teams, and more.
UpdatePHP has always helped check a single site's PHP version. Site Manager takes that further: a portfolio workspace for agencies and developers who look after many sites and need a clear view of which ones are supported, security-only, or past end of life.
Here is a summary of the core functions available at launch.
Portfolio PHP tracking
Add every client site to My Sites and scan for the PHP version in use. Each site is rated by impact — supported, security-only, or retired — so risk is visible before a client call or audit, instead of buried in a spreadsheet.
Portfolio analytics
Charts for risk, versions, and scan activity give a portfolio-wide health view — useful for planning upgrades and showing clients where attention is needed.
Scheduled rescans
Hosts change PHP versions without warning. Schedule rescans so the portfolio stays current without chasing control panels. When a version moves, the status updates with it.
Upgrade reminders
Choose who gets notified — the account holder, the client, contacts, or a mix. Plain-language emails cover end-of-life risk, new releases, version changes, and scan problems so non-technical contacts understand why an upgrade matters.
PHP probe file
Some hosts hide the PHP version from remote checks. The probe is a small file you place on the server to report the real version. Profiles and policies help standardise how probes are used across the portfolio.
Agency branding
Brand outbound reminders and reports with agency details so clients recognise who is helping them stay secure — rather than a generic UpdatePHP message.
Team access
Invite staff with permissions for viewing, scanning, adding, editing, or deleting sites, plus probe management. Built for agency workflows where more than one person needs access.
Clients and contacts
Organise sites by client, keep contact details and notes in one place, and send reminders to the right people. Ideal when one agency account covers many businesses.
Trial and Pro
Site Manager includes a 30-day free trial with full features, then continues with a Pro subscription. See Pricing for current plans, or the Site Manager overview for a product walkthrough.
