How to check my website's PHP version in Magento

If your website was built in Magento you should have access to a web admin interface through which you can find out what version of PHP you have installed. Follow the steps below to check where you need to go within the website admin pages of your Magento website.

1. Log in to your Magento Admin panel (typically at "yourwebsite.com/admin").
2. In the left sidebar, go to "System" and select "Web Setup Wizard."
3. Choose "System Upgrade" (you don’t need to proceed with an upgrade).
4. On the System Upgrade page, look for the "PHP Version" under the "System Check" section.
