How to check my website's PHP version in Joomla

If your website was built in Joomla you should have access to a web admin interface through which you can find out what version of PHP you have installed. Follow the steps below to check where you need to go within the website admin pages of your Joomla website.

1. Go to your Joomla website's login page (usually "yourwebsite.com/administrator").
2. Log in with your admin username and password.
3. From the admin dashboard, click "System" in the top menu.
4. Select "System Information" from the dropdown.
5. In "System Information," find the "PHP Information" tab to view the PHP version.
